Salvaging m/v "Captain Woodrow" 1.5 Miles south of the Leesville Bridge in Fourchon.
On November 18, 2022 the Coral Marine heavy lift barge Bisso 800 went to Louisiana Scrap in Gibson, LA to remove the counterweight off a 300 ton lift crane being scrapped. The 330 ton lift was completed using anchor chains and 3 inch wire slings. The lift was completed in less than 4 hours and allowed the barge to be pushed up on the bank to compete scrapping operations.
